Mars 11/8/03

Image of mars taken in the early hours of 11th August using an 8" Newtonian with 5x powermate and an unmodified Toucam Pro. Processed using K3ccdtools and Registax to bring out the contrast. The seeing was poor as the planet was only approximately 10 degrees above the horizon. To correct atmospheric dispersion the colours were realigned using The Gimp.
