COAA 2007

Two groups went at different times in 2007. This is a B&B in the Algarve run by an English couple who also do Astronomy. These are the domes in the garden.
Every night we would go into the observatory where our host would manually find many objects in the sky with his huge refractor.
While the non Astronomers with us sat on the patio drinking wine listening to all the Oohs and Ahhs coming from the observatory.

On the last night the host put a camera in the back of the telescope and we took some images. One pressing the camera on/off button, one doing manual guiding and a 3rd person timing it all. We took it in turns.

After this trip several came back wanting to give imaging a "go".
