Mars 29/8/03
Mars
RA: 22h 36m 17s
Dec: -15°54'37"
Az: 135°52'27"
Alt: 12°00'57"
Distance 0.373147AU
Heliocentric distance: 1.381149AU
Rising: 19:27
Setting: 04:50
Transit: 00:11
Vis.Mag.: -2.67
Vis.Dia.: 25.1"
Illuminated: 100%

The seeing was rather poor as Mars was still quite low in the sky.

I think the final image is not bad, but would definitely have benefited from waiting till Mars was a little higher in the sky away from the rooftops and also by mounting the camera directly to the Questar?.
