I think the final image is not bad, but would definitely have benefited from waiting till Mars was a little higher in the sky away from the rooftops and also by mounting the camera directly to the Questar?.

Image date, time and location:Taken on 29th August 2003 at 10:06pm BST.
Telescope aperture and focal ratio:Handheld video loooking through the eyepiece of a 90mm Questar.
Processing applied:The image was made into an AVI file and then processed in Registax?. Afterwards it was further processed in Photoshop? bringing out as much of the fine detail as possible. The colour were further positioned to align the red green and blue.
